VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art presents its Twentieth Annual Antiques Show and Sale the weekend of Jan. 13, 14, and 15, 2012. Admission to the show is $10 and includes re-admission throughout the weekend.
On Thursday evening January 12, a Patron Preview Cocktail Reception will be held from 5 to 6 pm which includes party attendance until 8:30 pm; and the Preview Party from 6 to 8:30 pm. Patron Reception tickets are $150 per person and Preview Party tickets are $100 per person.

The Museum’s Antiques Show & Sale is considered one of Florida’s most-esteemed expositions of antiques in the region and has a long-standing reputation for quality and variety that attracts antique-lovers and collectors throughout Florida.
Show manager Charles Miller of Chapel Hill, NC returns with 38 excellent dealers-presenting an exceptional variety of 18th and 19th century Americana including furniture, jewelry, art, glassware, porcelains, collectibles, silver, and more. The show will also include other specialty dealers offering fine art, sporting antiques, majolica, and antique and semi-antiques oriental rugs.
Appraisals will be available daily in the Museum’s Leonhardt Auditorium from 10 am to 3 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 2 pm Sunday at a cost of $15 per item (plus show admission charge) with a 3-item maximum. The Museum’s Chelsea’s @ The Museum Café in the Laura and Bill Buck Atrium will be open throughout the show for visitors.
Included with show admission, visitors can view the popular exhibition In The Tradition Of Wyeth: Contemporary Watercolor Masters in the Museum’s Holmes Gallery. The exhibition presents 26 significant watercolors including five works by Andrew Wyeth along with works by Ray Ellis, Stephen Scott Young, Dean Mitchell, Hubert and Alan Shuptrine, William Matthews, and Kathy Caudill, among others.
