James “Doc” A. Jones Sr., 73, died Dec. 16, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Greenville and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son, James A. Jones Jr., of West Palm Beach; daughters, Cassandra Naine, Vanya Jones and Tracie Presley, all of Vero Beach; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 23 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Dec. 24 at Cox Gifford Seawinds.
Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery.
