Kwik Stop robber wore ‘Vero Beach Baseball’ sweatshirt

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department continues to search for the teenager who robbed the Kwik Stop convenience store on 16th Street. The teen, according to police, was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt bearing the words “Vero Beach Baseball.”

The suspect displayed a handgun during the robbery, which occurred the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 16.

The store employee on duty at the time continued with business as usual after the suspect left and called police about 20 minutes later, according to the police department.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-2 white male between 15- and 17-year-old. The teenager fled on foot west on 16th Street.
