INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Add one more thing to your gift shopping list this season: diapers. The IRC Healthy Start Coalition and Substance Awareness Council of IRC have teamed up to collect baby diapers and wipes to give to moms in need this holiday season.
In addition to providing these much-needed items now, the diapers and wipes will also be given to pregnant moms who want to quit smoking if they attend a “Tools to Quit” smoking class being offered in January, as a reward for striving to make healthy choices for their unborn child and themselves.
Diapers and wipes will be collected through Dec. 21 at the following locations: Healthy Start Coalition Office, Substance Awareness Council of IRC, IRC Sheriff’s Office, Beachland Elementary, Imagine Charter School, and Unity Church.
