Joan B. Mitchell, 82, died Dec. 14, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Blairsville, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach since 1989.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Todd Mitchell, of Atlanta and Scott Mitchell, of Dallas; daughters, Lisa Yaggy, of Hopkinton, Mass., and Sally Lauderdale, of Gillette, N.J.; brother, David Bennett, of Vero Beach; and 10 grandchildren.
