FELLSMERE — The U.S. Navy Armed Guard and Merchant Marines will hold its monthly meeting Dec. 17 at 9 a.m. at Marsh Landing Restaurant, 44 North Broadway, Fellsmere.
There is an open menu and everyone is welcome.
The speaker will be Walter Brown, of Vero Beach, who wanted to get in the U.S. Navy so bad that he lied about his age. He saw service all over the world.
Walter has run in marathons in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. He was Runner of the Year in 1979.
