VERO BEACH — The Chase Bank branch on Beachland Boulevard was robbed at about 11 a.m. this morning.
Police are searching for a white man, about 6-foot-3, and weighing about 200 pounds. They said the man appeared to be in his early 50s.
The suspect was wearing black-rimmed glasses, a blue jacket and a blue Miami Dolphins baseball hat when he entered the bank.
He also had bandage wrap material on the left side of his face investigators believe he used to attempt to conceal his identity.
The suspect did not display a firearm or weapon but might have implied he had one.
The suspect in this case is possibly driving a white, early 2000s mini-van, unknown make or model that was last seen traveling east in the bank parking lot toward A1A, authorities released.
Police have not said how much was taken in the robbery.
