Alice Annette Peters Mullenix, 51, died Dec. 10, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Fort Pierce and lived in Vero Beach for 49 years, coming from her birthplace.
She was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1978.
She worked at Woolworths in Vero Beach for nine years and for the Indian River County School Board for 15 years.
Recently, she was the health assistant at the Vero Beach Freshman Learning Center.
She was a member of King’s Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Danny E. Mullenix, of Vero Beach; daughters, Danielle Mullenix, of Fellsmere and Brittany Mullenix, of Vero Beach; mother, Mary Peters-Jordan, of Vero Beach; sister, Eloise Jenkins, of Fitzgerald, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Peters; and brother, Dewayne Peters.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at King’s Baptist Church in Vero Beach, with the Rev. Bill Brothers officiating.
Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
