VERO BEACH — You won’t want to miss a minute of this year’s 8th Annual WinterFest at Pointe West. From 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, Heritage Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with over 30 tons of snow!
Kids will enjoy two giant “Snow Slides” as well as a small “Bunny Slope” for the little ones. The “Penguin Pond” ice skating rink is open to all ages and comes complete with ice skates.
Direct from the North Pole, the jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, will be making an appearance and he’ll be bringing some special guests with him.
In addition to all the winter activities, this year’s “Fire & Ice” celebration will once again feature a spectacular grand finale fireworks display beginning at 6 p.m.
Co-hosted by Pointe West and the Indian River County Recreation Department, WinterFest will also feature “Santa’s Fun Zone” full of inflatable fun, face painting, train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides and a decorated golf cart parade.
Radio personalities, Geoff & Dana from 93.7 The Breeze, will be emceeing the afternoons line up of musical entertainment scheduled to perform under the grand pavilion.
As always, admission to WinterFest is absolutely free so bring the entire family out for an afternoon filled with tons of fun, food and holiday magic. Pointe West is located just minutes west of the Indian River Mall on State Road 60.
