Donna J. Ballard, 75, died Dec. 4, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Hammond, Ind., and moved to Vero Beach in 1969 from Indianapolis.
She and her husband owned 13 McDonald’s restaurants before their retirement.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Ellis and Barbara Morey, both of Vero Beach; sister, Sandra Geissendorfer, of Schererville, Ind.; brother, Bill Stevens, of Highland, Ind.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ballard; and a brother, Kenny Stevens.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Fort Pierce.
