Cheryl “Lucy” Thornton, 52, died Nov. 22, 2011, at home.
She was a cashier at Publix and enjoyed baking and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, John Thornton, of Sebastian; mother, Sadie Ledford, of Charlotte, N.C.; brother, Steve Ledford, of Charlotte, N.C.; stepson, John Thornton, of Vero Beach; stepdaughter, Jennifer Budde, of Vero Beach; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Ledford.
Memorial contributions may be made to hospice.
Services will be private.
