Rita Palazzo, 86, died Nov. 29, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Philadelphia and was a winter visitor to Vero Beach since 1982, becoming a full-time resident in 2000.
She was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Michael Palazzo, of Vero Beach; daughter, Joann Jedlinski, of Sebastian; sons, Michael Palazzo, of Cary, N.C., and Jerry Palazzo, of Rockledge, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Dean, of Philadelphia.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
