Walter Charles Swanson, 81, died Nov. 19, 2011.
He was born in Whitestone, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 17 years.
Survivors include his children; Jeanne Kirby, of Massachusetts, Walter Swanson, Rosemarie Harding, Laura Swanson and Karen Villeneuve, all of Connecticut, Anne Holdridge, of Vermont, Timothy Swanson, of Mississippi, and Patrick Swanson, of Virginia; brother, Richard Swanson, of New York; 27 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; and a son, Christopher.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 1 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay.
