SEBASTIAN — H.A.L.O. Rescue, Inc. will hold their 5th Annual 2K Walk for Rescue Animals and “Poker Crawl”, Saturday, Dec. 10. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and walk begins at 10:30 a.m. at Riverview Park in Sebastian.
Have fun plus save the lives of homeless pets. It’s fun for families, individuals and of course the dogs. All proceeds from this event go directly to help the animals. Join others like you who care about the animals and walk to save lives.
We are asking you be both an advocate and a fundraiser for the animals. You can be a successful fundraiser for homeless pets by asking people you know to support what you believe in. Just a bit of money and a handful of people can really add up. Ask each of your friends and family members for anything they can give and very quickly you become a powerful fundraiser for the animals.
Schedule of Events: (Rain Date Sunday Dec. 11)
10 am – Final Registration
11 am – Walk the Beautiful River. Enjoy a beautiful 1 mile walk and participate in an optional poker crawl to win great prizes
12:15 pm – Enjoy free lunch at HALO, 710 Jackson St. Sebastian
12:30 pm – Enjoy learning how our city stays protected by the Sebastian police department and our local K9’s
1 pm – Great Raffles / Professional Portraits / Pet Adoptions /Face Painting/ Microchipping and more.
