VERO BEACH — Join the Main Street Vero Beach Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. to Noon as we come together as a community to clean up, plant, mulch, paint, and spruce up our historic downtown. Everyone is welcome as a variety of projects will be underway.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with a volunteer welcome and sign-in at the MSVB Office, 2036 14th Avenue (across the street from the 14th Ave. Steakhouse). Teams will then break out into work groups for instruction and demonstrations.
Projects include planting flowers and plants, staining planters and benches, painting, and general street and sidewalk clean-up. Water and snacks will be provided. Come make new friends, have some fun, and enjoy a day you will be proud of.
We appreciate any and all help, but in order to be the most productive in a short amount of time, please sign-up prior to December 3. Our Downtown Beautification Day is hosted by Main Street Vero Beach. Main Street is a national organization that over the past 30 years has been committed to preserving, protecting and nurturing the economic and cultural vitality of downtowns across America. You are invited to join us in preserving Vero’s heritage while building our future through historical preservation, downtown beautification, and realizing a vision of our historic downtown as a pedestrian friendly center of the community.
E-mail Main Street Vero Beach at info@mainstreetverobeach.org for more information and let us know what project you would like to work on.
