Thomas S. Thompson, 93, died Nov. 15, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Darien, Conn.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army Air Force, attaining the rank of captain.
He was a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Business School.
He was senior vice president of The General Foods Corp.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Nathalie B. Thompson, of Vero Beach; son, Todd Thompson, of Southbury, Conn.; daughters, Ingrid Morsman, of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Kristin Patterson, of Fairview, Pa.; sister, Ingrid Andersen, of Richmond, Vt.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Douglas and Eric Thompson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be at a later date in Connecticut.
