VERO BEACH — On Saturday, Dec. 17 the Kiwanis Club of Vero-Treasure Coast will host its annual charity golf tournament to raise funds for children in Indian River County.
This year’s “From Tots to Teens” tournament will be held at the Club at Pointe West and will benefit the Kiwanis Club’s scholarships for high school students and Childcare Resources’ affordable early childhood programs.
Each player will receive a continental breakfast beginning at 7 a.m., an 8 a.m. shotgun start, a full lunch prepared by the Club at Pointe West, goodie bags and award presentation. Mulligans and chance drawing tickets will be available for purchase. Players will participate in foursomes in a scramble format. The tournament is open to anyone.
Kiwanian Al Sammartino who chairs this event said, “It is an honor for the Kiwanis Club of Vero-Treasure Coast to partner with Childcare Resources for our annual golf tournament. Both of our organizations have as our number one priority the health and welfare of children and all our fund raising is dedicated to this goal.”

The Kiwanis Club of Vero-Treasure Coast is a local service organization that first and foremost serves children.
