Fred Kenneth Clement, 72, died Nov. 11, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
He was born in Plymouth, Mich., and lived in Sebastian for 17 years, coming from his birthplace.
He was a pipe fitter who worked for Ford Motor Co. in its Livonia, Mich., plant for 31 years, until retiring in 1994.
He was a Navy veteran.
He was a volunteer firefighter in Plymouth for many years.
He was a Sebastian Police Deptartment volunteer and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian and the Elks.
He was an avid ham radio operator known as N8EFP.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Judy J. Clement, of Sebastian; sons, David Clement, of Sebastian and Steve Freppon, of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Teri Campbell, of Manchester, Mich.; brother, Gary Clement, of Wilcox, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Clement.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 1403 Louisiana Ave., Sebastian, FL 32958.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 14 at First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian, with the Rev. Eleanor B. Lea, officiating.
Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory of Sebastian.
