Jack Close died Nov. 9, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Wyandotte, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach since 1971, coming from Sarasota.
Survivors include his stepson, Kim Frosell; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Close.
Services are private.
