Robert O. Wilson, 88, died Nov. 7, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born in Kentucky and lived in Sebastian for 28 years, coming from Metamora, Ind.
He was a welder for General Motors.
He was a World War II veteran of the Marine Corps.
He attended New Hope Ministries Church in Winter Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Arveedus Wilson, of Sebastian; sons, Hobie Wilson, of Sebastian and Edward Wilson, of Connersville, Ind.; daughters, Roberta Baker and Diane Sullivan, both of Vero Beach; brother, James Wilson, of Connersville; sisters, Ruby Halpin and Mary Francis Collins, both of Metamora; 18 grandchildren, and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Ray and Jerry Wilson; brothers, Wallace, Cecil, Gene and Buck; and sisters, Idie and Hazel.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 11 at New Hope Ministries Church in Winter Beach.
