VERO BEACH — Harry Getzov, author of gOLD, a book of fascinating stories from conversations with Hugh Downs, Maya Angelou and nearly 1,600 others, will be the featured guest speaker at a fundraising luncheon.
That event will benefit the Treasure Coast Community Foundation, noon Monday Dec. 5 at The Quail Valley River Club.
Getzov is thoughtful, caring, and amusing, all at the same time. His uplifting and insightful view of the cycles of our lives is prescient for all, including the “boomers” who are on deck next, and those who are enjoying the “golden years.”
Getzov is an accomplished attorney, educated at Fordham, after completing his undergraduate degree at Boston University. He spent many years in New York City and Hollywood as an entertainment lawyer. He has an insider’s perspectives on an industry most will never experience.
Getzov has generously agreed to make this presentation for the benefit of Treasure Coast Community Foundation (TCCHF). Treasure Coast Community Health provides a wide range of medical, dental and behavioral healthcare services, and is a healthcare home to 20,000 Indian River County residents. We accept Medicare and Medicaid patients, populations of importance to Harry.
Attendees with be served an exceptional lunch in the main dining room overlooking the Indian River and will receive a complimentary copy of Getzov’s book.
