47th annual St. Helen’s All-American Harvest Fest returns Nov. 17

VERO BEACH — The 2011 St. Helen’s Harvest Festival will be held Thursday Nov. 17 through Nov. 20 at Vero Beach Sports Village to celebrate the 47th Anniversary of the event and the 92nd Anniversary of St. Helen Church.

Organizers have planned six live media remotes during this year’s event. The broadcasts include WGYL 93.7 The BREEZE FM on Thursday, from 5-7 p.m., and PlanetVero.com from 6-8 p.m.; WJKD 99.7 FM on Friday from 5-7 p.m.; WQOL 103.7 FM on Saturday from Noon to 2 p.m. and WSCF 91.9 Christian FM from 3-5 p.m.; and WAVW Country 92.7 FM on Noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Don’t miss one minute of the All-American, Old-Fashioned, Family Fun in the Sun as St. Helen’s parishioners provide over 25 games and drawings, great festival food and a Midway featuring in the neighborhood of 20 terrific rides from Deggeller Attractions of Stuart for adults, teens, and children of all ages.

Students from St. Helen’s are offering pre-sale ride tickets at a discount to help raise money for their school. The pre-sale tickets are 75 cents each, and will be sold through Thursday, Nov. 17 only up until 3 p.m. before the festival begins.

Terrific St. Helen’s Harvest Festival food will include fried pickles, chicken & beef kabobs, chicken Parmesan, hamburgers, turkey drums, gourmet dogs, pulled pork, pizza, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, cotton candy, fried dough, and much more.

The 47th Annual St. Helen’s Harvest Festival will again offer free admission and free parking at the Vero Beach Sports Village.

This year’s hours are Thursday Nov. 17 from 5-9:30 p.m., Friday Nov. 18 from 5-11 p.m., Saturday Nov. 19 from Noon-11 p.m., and Sunday Nov. 20 from Noon – 6 p.m.
