Robert W. Bordeaux, 88, died Nov. 3, 2011, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
He was born in Charleroi, Pa., and lived in Sebastian for 12 years, coming from Sunrise.
He worked as an industrial salesman in the steel industry.
He was a World War II veteran, serving as lieutenant in the Navy.
He belonged to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Sebastian and was a member of its former men’s club.
He was a member of Tailhookers and a volunteer with Teen Challenge.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Janet Cahill, of Sebastian; sons, Robert Bordeaux, of Kintnersville, Pa., and John Bordeaux, of Potomac Falls, Va.; daughter, Sue Hawkins, of Waldron, Ark.; sister, Annette Zeisler, of Manchester, N.J.; brother, Zen Baudaux, of Manchester; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
No services are planned at this time.
