Lois Elaine Petty, 84, of Vero Beach, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born May 13,1927, in Detroit, Mich., and moved to Vero Beach two months ago, coming from Greenacres.
Petty was a devoted member of the First Church Christ, Scientist in Boynton Beach, where she served in their reading room and as a church usher.
Survivors include her daughters, Christina A. Krauz, of Grand Marais, Minn., and Deborah L. (Vito Marchese) Wood, of Vero Beach; son, Thomas E. (Dawn) Petty, of Clinton, Mich.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry H. Petty in 1994.
A graveside service will be held at the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Mich., at a later date.
