Kenneth T. Bergeron Sr., 93, Sebastian

Kenneth T. Bergeron Sr., 93, died Oct. 31, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Biddeford, Maine, and lived in Sebastian for 11 years, coming from Worcester, Mass.

He was the owner/operator of a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Worcester.

He was a World War II veteran, receiving two Purple Hearts for his service as a captain in the Army.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Rotary Club and the Shriners, all in Worcester.

Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Taylor “Jay” Bergeron Jr., of Sebastian, and David Bergeron, of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Jo-Ann Bergeron, of Marston Mills, Mass., Sandra Murphy, of West Yarmouth, Mass., and Betsy Nicholson, of Kilauea, Hawaii.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bergeron; and daughter, Patty Bergeron.

At the request of the family no services will be planned locally.

A private memorial service will be at a later date in New Hampshire.
