VERO BEACH — With the “Dog Days of Summer”, officially ended, Dogs For Life, Inc. will re-start their dog obedience classes on Saturday Nov.12, 9 a.m. at the DFL Off-Leash Dog Park located at 1230 16th Avenue in Vero Beach.
Shelly Ferger, DFL Founder and Executive Director will instruct this six week course where an emphasis is applied to dog behavior, effective communication tools and positive reinforcement training methods.
Basic dog obedience, Agility, Rally Obedience, Pet Assisted Therapy, Assistance Dog and AKC Canine Good Citizen training are included in the class outline.
The six weeks, limited class size course is open to the public and costs $75. Pre-registration is required.
