INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Democratic Party will conduct its kickoff to the 2012 elections with a Luncheon at the Vero Beach Yacht Club, 3601 Vista Boulevard, Vero Beach on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Noon.
Featured guest of honor and speaker will be the Honorable Rod Smith, Chairman of the Florida Democratic Party. He has served as state attorney gaining the respect of labor unions; ran as a gubernatorial candidate in 2006 and was the Democratic Party’s nominee for Lt. Governor in 2010. He practices law in Gainesville and has served as adjunct professor at Florida College of Law.
