VERO BEACH — You may be a person who prays several times a day, or you might just be curious about the possibilities for prayer.
“So many people today are interested in discovering more about the healing effect of prayer,” international speaker Mark Swinney says. “Join me to investigate prayer’s powerful effects, and examine practical examples of how prayer has impacted my own life and the lives of others.”
Swinney will present a talk titled, “The healing effect of your prayers” on Monday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Center, 2140 14th Ave. in Vero Beach.
“What happens when you commune with God in prayer? Regardless of what you’re praying about, there is a potent, healing effect that results when the power of God is allowed to transform your thoughts,” says Swinney. “At this lecture you will hear examples of this healing effect and how you can experience the effect of prayer in your own life.”
Swinney’s ideas are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as discussed in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
Practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Mark Swinney has devoted more than 25 years both to praying with people and empowering people to pray effectively for themselves. A prolific author with more than 250 published articles addressing numerous facets of prayer and healing, Mark’s love for God shines very brightly.
