Heart to Heart Singles Mingle at Cork Wine Bar to benefit foster children

VERO BEACH — Heart to Heart recently announced that it would host a singles-only event at Cork Wine Bar, 2101 Indian River Blvd., in Vero Beach on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 8 to 9 p.m.

In addition to a complimentary drink, a $15 donation to the Children’s Home Society of Florida will also allow ticket holders to gain entrance to an exclusive fashion show and auction that includes fine wine, a romantic weekend getaway, fashions, accessories and other fun items for both men and women.

For women the highlight of the evening will feature a “bachelor auction,” whereby a few lucky ladies will be treated to an evening out on the town with the gentleman of their choice in exchange for the highest donation offered up for the nonprofit organization.

Tickets are available at the door. For more information contact Jeanmarie Hajla, owner of Heart to Heart, at 646-262-6717.

Heart to Heart is comprised of a local group of business owners who support the community with a common goal of philanthropic contribution. In addition to charitable work, the group also hosts singles networking events.

This event will immediately follow another event to benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida. “The Diva Gets a Modern Makeover at Talulah’s Boutique,” which will be held at the Modern One Plaza location from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Tickets for this event are available in advance for $20 at Talulah’s Boutique, 2101 Indian River Blvd. and Seacoast National Bank locations in Vero Beach or at the door as capacity allows.

The Diva Gets a Modern Makeover at Talulah’s Boutique is an exclusive shopping event featuring champagne and noshes in a covered garden setting, exclusive discounts, ambush makeovers, gift prize drawings and a Chinese auction.

Donations of $10 each or three for $25 will be accepted for prize drawing tickets to win a head-to-toe makeover. The first 45 guests will receive gift bags full of goodies and arrivals before 6 p.m. are eligible to win on the spot makeovers and door prizes.

For ticket holders Faith, Hope & Chocolate will offer a chocolate tasting, Cork Wine Bar will offer discounted drinks all night and Havana Cigar Club will be open to provide a gentlemen’s sanctuary until 8 p.m.
