He was born April 22, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from South Philadelphia High School in June 1964 and completed JFK Vocational School in Food Preparation. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968 with honorable discharge. Joe was a chef at the Headhouse in Philadelphia where he met an “fresh off the boat” English girl, Jacqueline Mascucchini, and married in March 1977. They resided in Bucks County Pennsylvania for 47 Years before moving to, “my kinda town,” Sebastian in June 2024. Joe loved to cook for his family and friends, his Italian heritage shining through with the best homemade bread, meatballs, and gravy on Sundays. He was an avid fisherman, lover of all things Hemingway, and frequent traveler with his wife, Jacqueline. Joe is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; by his children Katrina Hockings of Sebastian, FL and Lisa (Dan) Smith, of Doylestown, PA; a brother Ronald (Jacqueline) Mascucchini of Doylestown, PA; a sister Maria Mascucchini of Philadelphia, PA; and sister in law Christine (John) Glover of Sebastian, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his father Nicholas Mascucchini; Mother Francesca (Jackie) Mascucchini, ne Cavallo; son Keith Hockings and brother, Anthony Mascucchini. Graveside service with military honors will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on May 1, 2025, at 10am. He embodied the roles of a loving and supportive husband, father and an amazing grandfather with a strong will to live, who cherished spending time with his loved ones. His infectious laugh and vibrant spirit will be greatly missed. Stephen is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda; his daughter Michelle; his son, Steven; and his cherished grandchildren, Devon, DJ, Ashley, Travis, Cody and Kasey. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, who were the cornerstone of his life. Stephen worked for the City of Ft. Lauderdale Utilities department for 40 years. Throughout his life, Stephen enjoyed spending time bowling, playing cards and corn hole with his family, engaging in puzzles and crosswords, and was an avid collector, always on the lookout for the next big find. She was born on July 31, 1936, in Berlin, Germany, and came of age during a time of great hardship as her homeland was torn apart by war. Despite the challenges, Gerda’s resilience and strength carried her family through the turmoil of post-war Europe. Her family eventually made the brave journey from East to West Germany, settling in the town of Hamelin. At the age of 20, Gerda embarked on a new life across the ocean, sailing to the United States with the dream of a better future. Sponsored by the Lutheran Church, she settled in Brooklyn, New York. It was during a visit to the Roseland Dance Hall that she met her lifelong love, Herbert Grathwohl. Gerda and Herbert built a beautiful life together in North Massapequa, New York, where they raised three children—Stephen, Sally, and Carol. After more than 25 years, they relocated to Sebastian, Florida in 1987, a place Gerda grew to love deeply. She found joy in the natural beauty of Florida—its flowers, trees, birds, and wildlife. A gifted cook and baker, Gerda made everything seem effortless. Her passions were many: gardening, swimming, dancing, card games, beach days, and her favorite casino slot machines enjoyed with a glass of wine. But above all, Gerda took the greatest pride in caring for her home and family. Gerda is survived by her three children: Stephen (Kathy), Sally (Maureen), and Carol (Joseph), and by four grandchildren whom she adored: Erich and Kurt Grathwohl, and Kyle Russo and Kelly Amore. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Heidi Reimer of Germany, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she held close to her heart. Her warmth, humor, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Joan was born April 18, 1937 to Mae Pauline Oberg and William H. Darling in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating high school Joan married George Roberts and had two sons, Kevin Michael Roberts and Shaun William Roberts. Joan retired from Travelers Insurance in Rhode Island. In 1977, Joan met and married Merv Warnock in Cranston, Rhode Island. They moved to Micco, Florida in 1992 and their lakeside home in Snug Harbor Lakes in Micco in 2002. Joan attended Calvary Chapel in Sebastian, Florida. She was incredibly blessed with many loving friends. Joan celebrated 49 1/2 wonderful years of sobriety. She was also an avid sun lover and beach comber with an extensive sea glass collection. Her son Kevin fondly nicknamed her “Coppertone Joan”. Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Merv Warnock, her son Shaun William Roberts, her brother Bobby Darling and both of her parents. He was the youngest of 5 children born to Jim and Laverne Raines. He is survived by his wife Sherry, daughter Sydney, mother Laverne, sisters Debbie, Vickie, and Brenda, brother Marc, and the newest family members, his twin grandsons, Orion and Grayson. Tim was a drummer and a star gazer, as well as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and of the Honor Guard. He loved astronomy and learning Latin and Catholicism, but his biggest love in life besides his family was being an EMT/Paramedic/Chief Paramedic for over 25yrs. He was a people person with a big heart, who made lifelong friends anywhere he went and will be missed dearly. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Friday, May 23, 2025 and is open to everyone at the Sebastian Cemetery. May he rest in peace and shine on in the night sky amongst the stars.
