Three community leaders join Saint Edward’s School board

VERO BEACH — Three new Board members have joined the Board of Trustees at Saint

Edward’s School.

Ron Chesley, a co-founder of SpectorSoft in Vero Beach which has grown to over 90 employees. Chesley is the parent of two Saint Edward’s students; he has been active with the School’s technology committee and he and his wife, Becky, have served on the Annual Fund Parent Committee. Chesley has been active in the community with the Vero Treasure-Coast chapter of the Kiwanis and the Florida Bar Grievance Committee.

John Huryn is the principal behind Huryn Construction, a residential construction and remodeling firm active in Florida since 1985. More recently he founded Huryn Justice General Contractors. Huryn and his wife, Debbie, are parents to one Saint Edward’s student. The Huryns have been actively involved with the School since 2006. Huryn has served on the Gentlemen’s Group for the Saint Edward’s Benefit and on the School’s Annual Fund Committee and has received awards from The American Institute of Architects for his residential work. He served on the Environmental Learning Center’s Board of Directors for three years during which he handled repairs of the 2004 hurricane damage and served on the construction and marketing committees.

Robert Ritter is Chairman of the law firm Gray, Ritter and Graham, P.C. in St. Louis where he has practiced litigation for 44 years. In addition to holding office in numerous business, professional, civic and charitable organizations in Saint Louis, Bob Ritter has been a Board Member of John’s Island Club, is currently a Trustee of the Vero Beach Museum of Art and

is a member of the Distinguished Lecturer Series Board at Riverside Theatre. Ritter and his wife, Karen, are grandparents to two Saint Edward’s students and have been ardent supporters of the School and the Vero Beach community for many years.
