Harold Walter Holmes, 85, died Oct. 14, 2011.
He was born in Lynn, Mass., and he moved to Sebastian 22 years ago from Lee, N.H.
He was a veteran of the Navy during World War II, serving as a fireman on the destroyer minesweeper U.S.S Palmer.
He worked many years as a glass glazier.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 10210 and Legion Post 366.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam; daughter, Michelle Rodriguez, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and one grandchild.
Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, is in charge of arrangements.
