Anne McAlpin Forbes McMullin, 92, died Oct. 8, 2011, at Mari de Villa Retirement Center in St. Louis.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach at the Moorings and then at Indian River Estates for 30 years.
She worked as a children’s librarian at the Weston Public Library.
She attended the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn for 12 years where she was an all-state player in field hockey and basketball and also attended Smith College, graduating in 1940.
Survivors include her children, Forbes Alexander McMullin and Kimball Ray McMullin both of St. Louis, and Raymond David McMullin, of Oakland, Maine; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kimball A. McMullin in 2009; sister, Norma Forbes Stoecker; brothers, William Douglas Forbes and Raymond Clement Hitchcock Forbes of Brooklyn; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ladue, Mo.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 12. at the Newton Cemetery, Newton Center, Mass.
