Indian River Chamber of Commerce announces 2012 board

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Bill Penney, of Marine Bank & Trust Company, has been elected to serve as Chairman of the 2012 Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Elected to serve as Vice President is Cathy McKenzie, AT&T. Elected as Treasurer is Jeff Schlitt, Schlitt Services.

The 2011 Chairman of the Board Linda Schlitt Gonzalez, Coldwell Banker – Ed Schlitt Realtors will serve as Immediate Past Chairman. Named as General Counsel is Kathryn Block-Faires, Block, Block & Pegler.

The new Board began its duties on Oct. 1 and will serve through Sept. 30, 2012.

Newly elected to the Board for three-year terms are: Dr. Paul Minotty, New Vision Eye Center, and David King, INEOS New Planet BioEnergy.

Also, new to the Board serving a 1-year term are Jamie Laviolette, Publix Super Market and Amy Brunjes, FPL.

Re-elected to the Board are: Tony Donadio, Donadio & Associates; Linda Schlitt Gonzalez, Coldwell Banker-Ed Schlitt; Geoff Berger, Piper Aircraft, Inc.; and Todd Westover, Treasure Coast Refuse/Republic Services.

Returning to the Chamber Board of Directors are: Andy Beindorf, CenterState Bank; Jim Davis, Treasure & Space Coast Radio; Tatiana Dyer, Dyer Chevrolet; Jay Hart, Wells Fargo; Andrew Kennedy, Proctor Construction; Chad Morrison, Florida Floor Fashions; Maureen Nicolace, Nicolace Marketing; Robert Paugh, Bill Bryant & Associates; Keith Pelan, Kimley-Horn & Associates; Peter Robinson, Laurel Agency; Monica Smiley, Costa d’Este Beach Resort; David Sullivan, Indian River State College; and Jeff Thompson, Vero Millwork, Inc.
