Hardy Dunbar Jr., 76, died Sept. 26, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Columbus, N.C. and lived in Sebastian.
He was an employee of Weyerhaeuser, Chesapeake, Va., for 25 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Sands, of Sebastian and Felicia Kennedy, of Woodbridge, Va.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, Hardy Dunbar III; brothers, Joseph Dunbar Sr. and Charles Dunbar Sr.; and sisters, Edna Bowers, Palestine Fitzgerald, Ethel Dunbar, Bernice Staton and Deloris Mayo.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Metropolitan Funeral Services, Norfolk, Va.
