Stephen A. Scent, 56, died Sept. 17, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Okinawa, Japan, and moved to Vero Beach three years ago from Richmond, Va.
He was a musician who performed with local artists around Indian River County. Survivors include his sons, Christopher Rall and Tanner Scent, both of Vero Beach; daughter, Heaven Lee Scent, of North Carolina; brother, Bob Scent, of Connecticut; sisters, Kathy Owlsfski and Mary Ann Cantwell, both of Orlando; father, Raymond Scent of Vero Beach; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, June Scent.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
