Gertrude G. Harris, 94, died Aug. 19, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach since 1975, coming from Greenwich, Conn.
She was a member of Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Bill Harris, of Palm Bay; daughter, Sally Alford, of Houston; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Harris.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 at Riverside Park, Vero Beach.
A social remembrance will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Oak Harbor Club, Vero Beach.
