SEBASTIAN — Coastal Community Church will be able to offer 800 more gallons of discounted gas Saturday due to community support. The church raised more than enough money to provide 2,000 gallons of fuel and was able to put the extra funds raised to providing even more.
Starting at 4 p.m., drivers can get up to 20 gallons of gasoline discounted by 50 cents at the Sebastian Shark Mart gas station located at the corner of County Road 510 and 512.
Also, the Dunkin Donuts at the Shark Mart will be offering free donut holes to participants of the gas buy-down.
The following weekend, the church will hold a free community block party at Riverview Park from 4 to 7 p.m. Admission, parking, food and games are all offered at no cost.
Sebastian Mayor Jim Hill has agreed to be in the dunk tank and Cub Scout Pack 568 will offer watery fun with a rain gutter regatta.
