Kilwins plans Halloween Open House to benefit Homeless Family Center

VERO BEACH — Kilwins Ice Cream & Chocolates in Vero Beach will host the second annual “Ice Cream, You Scream” Halloween Open House Weekend, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, Friday through Monday, Oct. 28 – 31 to benefit the Homeless Family Center.

The four-day open house event will feature door prizes, a fun costume contest for kids, adults and even pets. Be sure and enjoy complimentary tastings of the pumpkin fudge, made in the store by Chef Jef, as well as samples of Kilwins famous pumpkin ice cream. The store will be decorated with unique Halloween themed gifts and filled to the brim with made-in-store chocolate dipped treats to delight kids of all ages.

Wear your best Halloween costume and have your photo taken to enter the Costume Contest. Winners in each category (best adult costume, best child costume and best pet costume) will receive an ice-cream party for six on the Kilwins patio.

In keeping with its tradition of giving back to the Vero Beach community, Kilwins will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the four-day event to the Homeless Family Center. The center which is located at 720 4th Street in Vero Beach is a partner agency of United Way and Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc.
