Aaron Michael Hoyt, 47, died Aug. 31, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Muncie, Ind., and moved to Vero Beach 18 years ago from his birthplace.
He worked at Piper for seven years as an experimental aircraft assembler.
He served in the Army and was a member of the Eagles.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his parents, Marion J. Hoyt, of Parker City, Ind., and Zora Bechdolt, of Vero Beach; son, Jerad M. Hoyt, of Eaton, Ohio; daughters, Alyssa A. Hoyt, of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Megan Stevens, of Pine Knot, Ky.; sister, Lisa A. Higdon, of Farmland, Ind.; stepbrother, Anthony Hunt, of Warsaw, Ind.; and stepsister, Michelle Beaty, of Eaton, Ind.; and a grandchild.
No services are planned locally at this time.
