Gordon Greer, 90, died Aug. 30, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and after living in various eastern U.S. cities, he lived in Vero Beach for 10 years, coming from St. Bart’s.
He was a graduate of Kenmore High School, Kenmore, N.Y.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific.
Before retiring, he worked for the Spencer-Kellogg Co. where he became East Coast Division vice president.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, F. Ernestine Holland Greer of Vero Beach.
A celebration of life visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Greer home.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory Vero Beach.
