William K. Hastings, 90, died Aug. 20, 2011, in Dayton.
He was born in Two Harbors, Minn., and retired to Vero Beach, where he lived for 28 years.
He was a World War II veteran.
He retired from the DM&IR railroad and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; and wife, Eva.
Memorial contributions may be made to the local hospice.
Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery in Two Harbors.
