Education Foundation to celebrate 20 year anniversary with Platinum Dance Party

The Education Foundation of Indian River County (EF-IRC) is celebrating 20 years of service with a dance party entitled, “We’re going Platinum – Celebrating 20 Years of Recorded Hits!”

The Board of Directors of the EF-IRC invites educational enthusiasts to attend a dance party that will pay tribute to the recorded hits of the organization from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Quail Valley River Club.

Party goers are encouraged to pull out their favorite dancing shoes to boogie, hustle, slide and groove to the sounds of the Dee Dee Wilde Band.

This star studded affair is for the young at heart who enjoy the beat of golden oldies from the 60’s to the present. Everyone will go “gaga” over Chef Joe’s dine-around-stations that will feature epicurean delights fit for super stars. A live auction will feature vacation get-a-ways, jewelry and more that are fit for the King.

This platinum celebration will pay tribute to the recorded hits of the Education Foundation’s 20 years of service in Indian River County. Guest will get a chance to test their knowledge and win prizes.

The planning committee is led by co-chairs John J. Campione and Patrice Stowe and supported by Gail Kinney, Pat Donovan, Steve Higgins, Cynthia Falardeau and Mary Miner.

Tickets are $100 per person.
