SEBASTIAN — The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 18th Annual Lifestyle & Media Auction on Friday, Sept. 16 from 6 – 9 p.m.at the SpringHill Suites Marriot in Vero Beach.
The event is designed to provide advertising opportunities to businesses who want to increase their exposure in the marketplace, through a variety of media and promotional venues donated by professional marketing and advertising experts. There will also be a spectrum of exciting lifestyle items during the Live Auction segment of the evening as well as the ever-popular Silent Auction.
Last year was the first time the once titled “Media Auction” became a “Lifestyle & Media Auction.” The idea that business men and women would like to bid on fun things to do, as well as media, became the catalyst behind the newly named event and drew an entirely fresh crowd of bidders.
This year’s event plans to have exciting bid items – Vero Beach Flight Academy has generously donated a ‘Flight Simulation’ in their SAAB 2000 Jet Simulator for the pilot or pilot-at-heart, a weekend stay at Courtyard Marriott Mall of Georgia, Dinner for Two at the Costa d’Este Wave Kitchen, and more. There will be live music performed by Jennifer Patty and a delicious spread catered by Hale Groves Fresh Market.
The cost to attend is $10 for chamber members; $20 for non-members. All proceeds benefit Chamber programs.
