Eddie Lee Rue, 62, died Aug. 17, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Vero Beach, and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.
He was self-employed and a retired barber.
He was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Wabasso.
Survivors include his son, Eddie Marine, of Summerville, S.C.; daughter, LaTasha Rue, of Sanford; brothers, Solomon Rue, of Wabasso, Ivory Brinson, of Coleman and Clyde Brinson, of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Dorothy Seymour, of Miami, Deborah Jefferson, of Wabasso and Blondell Williams, of Palm Bay; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Gifford.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 27 at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Wabasso.
Burial will follow at Wabasso Cemetery, Wabasso.
