Diane Lanpher LaFage “Dinny”, 76, died on Aug. 15, 2011, in Providence, R.I.
LaFage was the daughter of Lawrence and Peggy Lanpher.
She was educated at The Lincoln School, Emma Willard and Briarcliff College.
LaFage was a lifelong summer resident of Little Compton, RI.
LaFage was a tennis player, golfer, sailor, ski instructor, swimmer, mother, wise and caring friend to many.
Survivors include her husband, Lou LaFage, of Vero Beach and Little Compton; daughter Martha, of Chicago; son Ted, his life partner Megan, their daughter Romy, of Belfast, Maine; sisters Pat Compton, of Brentwood, Calif., and Peggy Walmsley, of Shipton upon Wychwood, England; and her beloved pets Cooper and Obediah.
A memorial service will be celebrated at the Little Compton Congregation al Church on Saturday August 27 at 12:00 NOON.
