Virginia Gallagher died Aug. 15, 2011, at VNA Hospice in Vero Beach.
She was born in Philadelphia and lived in Vero Beach for 17 years, coming from Lake Mary.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Joseph Gallagher, of Vero Beach; son, Joseph G. Gallagher Jr., of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 18 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, with a service to follow at 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
