Irene H. Lamothe, 96, died Aug. 13, 2011, at the Atlantic Health Care Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in North Attleboro, Mass., and moved to Vero Beach in 1996, coming from Fort Pierce, where she had moved to in 1983 from Bellingham, Mass.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucille Brennan, of The Villages; sons, Norman Lamothe, of The Villages, Ronald Lamothe, of Woonsocket, R.I., and Gerard Lamothe, of Vero Beach; sister, Grace Remillard, of Woonsocket; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Philip Lamothe; brothers, Arthur and Edgar Poirier; sisters, Rita Trahan, Evelyn Longpre and Sister Lina Poirier of the religious order of the Sisters of Sainte Anne.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 at St. Helen Catholic Church, followed by interment at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
