George J. Sotos, 79, of Vero Beach, died Aug. 11, 2011, at the Sebastian River Medical Center.
Born in Flushing, N.Y., he had been a resident of Vero Beach for six years, coming from Surrey, England.
Employed by Industrial Acoustics Co., New York, for 44 years, and 35 of which he was CEO of the corporation in the United Kingdom.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Barbara; one daughter, Carolyn Mirro and her husband William; and grandson, Maximos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Aug. 16, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Lane, Vero Beach.
