Ruth Mary Millwater, 84, died July 29, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 33 years, coming from Long Island, N.Y.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She was a homemaker and worked as a cashier.
Survivors include her sons, Lonny Millwater, of Vero Beach, Wayne Millwater, of Audubon, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alanson F. Millwater.
